How shall we hear/listen anew? One tactic/technique is to accompany close-mic'ed mundane sounds, in this case, the washing machine, and treat them like lead instruments. Machine and waters, cycles in phases, spinning, grinding tones, vibrations singing. It's all there. I accompany (with a variety of augmented sounds) the machine in its passages.
